Mongolia’s free roaming nomadic goats provide the ultimate cashmere experience. Sourcing the longest cashmere down hair directly from the nomadic families of the frozen high Altai steppe at a fair price and not buying anonymously from market ensures our cashmere is the cream of the cream and our nomadic families have a good future.

Quality

As with any yarn, long fibres make a stronger, more stable, higher quality product. After sourcing the longest fibres in the world it is essential to ensure it is treated with the respect it deserves.

We use organic dyes and high tech equipment for the perfect yarn. Then knitted with precision German, Stoll and Japanese, Shima knitting machines, meticulously hand linked on Italian, Complete machines and hand finished to ensure it stands up to the scrutiny of the quality control teams, us and our discerning customers.

Moray’s cashmere has a 5 star industry rating for strength and resistance to pilling and is machine washable.

All EU standards of employment and health and safety are adhered to.
